Earlier today, University of the Gambia participatory social Research Association presented a report on the 2023 PRA exercise conducted in Jiroff and Bureng village by UTG development studies and staff to the vice Chairman of the Council Mr. Almamo A.K Ceesay.
The objectives of the conducted Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) exercise are, to practically introduce participating students to various PRA tools, techniques and usages, to popularize the concept of PRA as an empowering approach in Community development in the host Communities, to guide the host Communities in assessing and identifying their development needs as well as to produce a comprehensive and presentable report on the developmental challenges and aspirations of the host Communities.

The vice Chairman of the Council Mr. Almamo A.K. Ceesay, thank the officials from the UTG for the wonderful exercise conducted. He reassured them that the Council has an open door policy to work with any partner. He disclosed that, the report will go a long way in complementing Council strive in its development aspirations.
