Imam Bakawsu Fofana paid me a visit at my office today. The revered cleric said he came by to personally deliver his gratitude, appreciation and loyalty to His Excellency the President as well as to invite the President to his annual ziyarah slated for December 30, 2023 at Sanchaba Sulay Jobe. I thanked him for service to the nation and assured him of President Barrow’s commitment to serving our great nation with distinction and honor. I also urged him and all religious leaders to continue to pray for the leadership of the country and her people. Also, I insisted that there be a cordial relationship between the government and religious leaders for the benefit of all.
