Today, Adama Bojang created history by becoming the first player to play for a team in one of the top five European leagues in his first season after leaving the Gambian league. He made his Stade de Reims debut this afternoon in a 3-1 loss to Rennes on the road in the French Ligue 1 after coming off the bench. This serves as yet another indication that the Gambian league is moving in the right direction.
