You have no idea about Sulayman Camara yet. I had never come across a stupid ungrateful jealous human being like him. Let me clarify my stance: Honestly, I never knew Sulayman Camara is cruel. Initially, I harboured no personal grievances against Sulayman Camara, the self-proclaimed stupid cybersecurity figure. My concern arose when I perceived his intention to target innocent individuals associated with me. I cannot stand idly by while this occurs. It’s crucial to note that many NPP media platforms feature more than two presenters or reporters. However, Barrow Media Empowerment solely relies on Yusuf Kebbeh. Denying Kebbeh access to President Barrow or NPP events effectively silences Barrow Media Empowerment, a platform that staunchly supported President Barrow during challenging times when few dared to stand by him.
I’ve come to understand that Sulayman Camara, whom I supported, seeks to dismantle the Barrow Media Empowerment platform. His current focus is on strategizing to suppress and neutralize it. This revelation shocked me, but I cannot afford to wait. Recently, Camara began obstructing Yusuf Kebbeh, a Barrow Media Empowerment presenter. When I intervened, Camara became upset and confrontational. Despite my attempts to ignore him, he openly insulted and lied about me, prompting my response. Recognizing his inability to bully or intimidate me or those around me, Camara now plans to escalate the situation.
Sulayman Camara has declared his intent to draft a memorandum seeking President Barrow and NPP national executive endorsement to eliminate the Barrow Media Empowerment platform. I cannot stand idly by as Camara embarks on this destructive path. He is cultivating hatred and animosity towards Barrow Media Empowerment because he recognizes its potential influence, which he cannot replicate. I recall Camara expressing disbelief at our platform’s sustained operation over the years, revealing his potential resentment.
Despite my past support for Sulayman, I have advocated for his inclusion in NPP’s executive without understanding the true nature of his character. Unbeknownst to me, I was endorsing someone who would later become my biggest enemy without cause. During the NPP congress preparations, Camara initially expressed his intention to run for a campaign manager position, previously and currently held by Lamin Cham. Advising against this, I suggested an alternative, the NPP media and communication position, which was newly created. I strongly recommended it, and Sulayman Camara agreed and eventually secured the position.
As someone not physically present in The Gambia, my awareness depends on the information I receive. Sulayman Camara has communicated with me on various matters, some of which I cannot disclose at this time. Unfortunately, I now realize that he has been misleading me, harbouring ulterior motives. Sulayman Camara is now targeting an innocent individual who has done him no wrong. And believe me, Sulayman does not understand what he is about to start. Let him go and ask my opponents and those who tried it. I do not build hate for people.
